Job Objective:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in India. The successful
candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our HR Consulting services to new and existing customers
and will play a key role in driving revenue growth for the company. This is a topline impact role and will directly
impact the P&L of the region. The chosen candidate will be responsible for promoting sales in the entire Indian region and will have to travel to meet customers (existing and potential) as needed.
This role pays with Sales Commission and Target incentives in addition to a fixed Salary

Primary Responsibility (Strategic, Operational, People and Financial responsibilities)

  • Follow up on leads to identify Hot opportunities
  • Close business opportunities on a continuous basis to create topline impact – Sales
  • Should be target oriented, self-starter and must have excellent inter-personal and negotiation skills
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target industries
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including demonstrations, presentations, and
    training sessions
  • Collaborate with internal teams (including Vertical Heads and Operations) to ensure that customer needs
    are met and that products and services are continually improved
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our services, as well as those of our competitors, in order
    to effectively position our offerings in the market
  • Monitor and report on market trends and competitive activities, and provide recommendations to senior
    management on ways to stay ahead of the competition
  • Meet or exceed sales targets on a regular basis, and effectively manage sales pipelines and forecasts
  • Identify Sales opportunities for other Vertical (Talent) and assist in closing the deals together with Sales
    team of Talent vertical

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelors/Master degree in technical/business stream
  • 4+ years of experience in Sales, preferably in the Consulting industry,
    preferably HR Consulting
  • Experience identifying and closing opportunities in relevant areas
  • Background in HR to understand the services and underlying nuances of
    same
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the
    ability to effectively engage with customers at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
  • Fluency in English, and proficiency in atleast one of following local
    languages – Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil

Desired experience

  • Strong understanding of HR role from Strategic and Tactical point of
    view
  • Prior experience working with an HR Consulting firm

Knowledge and Skills

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong in MS Excel and other productivity tools
  • Strong in MS Powerpoint
  • Experience working with any of the Sales CRM software (Salesforce, EngageBay, Zoho, Hubspot,
    Salesforce etc.)
